Our 800 has a slow leak of oil coming out of the bottom of Case O Matic fly wheel housing.I had supposed the front seal of tranny was getting bad and this area should remain dry ,, However from a 611 Case-omatic post it states that the flywheel teeth will run in tranny oil, IS SAME TRUE for 800b ? Then I would have a simple problem to fix , Thanx ,Jim

Jim, as Charles stated, the Flywheel/Torque Converter of the COM runs in the oil reservoir for the COM. The starter is also exposed to this oil. So seals and gaskets are required at all joints in the castings and shafts that enter the COM case. One very common joint that leaks is at the semi-circle casting (part number: A-11602) that bolts to the underside of the engine block at the rear and into the front face of the COM case. At the upper, outboard, corners of the casting the gasket joint is tight into a corner which requires a tiny cork filler piece which often leaks if the bolts become even slightly loose.
You can see an exploded view of this condition in the on-line parts manual provided by CNH on the Parts and service site. The link is:>Link
After it loads, you first enter the Model of interest (800) in the Search box, then after the many choices for 800 machines from CNH show in the list… scroll down to the “800 Wheel Tractor”, then after that loads scroll down to figure number 099. This is a scan of the COM housing/case. The subject casting is shown at the lower right corner of the pictorial. As they say, A picture is worth 1000 words.
Hope this helps.

Looked at parts list an there is a oil seal on shaft to keep oil out of starter. There is also gasket on mounting bolts.(flange).Flyweel does run in oil.
