Hi,
I've a '52 VA with a rear end that needs new bearings and the 3-pt needs some work. I also have a '50 VAO with a bad engine. And I have work I need to do ASAP. So my plan is to split and swap rear ends and get my work done. I have a few manuals and it seems all I have to do is drain the transmission and remove a few bolts and fluid lines, then move a bunch of heavy pieces, rebolt and refill the transmission.

Any advice?

Basil

have some good blocks to block it up , a good lift , hoist, etc , good solid work area, and some one to help you for safety sake. good luck.
