Can someone give me the carb settings on a 1952 sc?All plugs are firing, but it`s not getting gas. When I spin it over, gas runs out of the carb.Tractor ran last year but not very well.Carb is very clean and the float is free. Not sure what the float setting should be.(not sure how to set it anyway.)Carb is a zenith B13 or B15.Any help greatly appreciated,Don.

hOPE YOU GET HER RUNNING ,,I fear that you may have a burned out intake exhaust manifold and now the two ports are sharing gasses ,, I have seen 3 do that in my time ,and I tinkered with everything just like you to no AVAIL ,,cHECK YOUR VALVE CLEARANCES ALSO , hope I am wrong ....,George in md ,I am told can fix these manifolds ,type in sc manifold and hit search for more info .,GOOD LUCK , Jim

The load screw ( the one on the bottom) about 1 1/2 turns open. The idle screw (the one on the top facing forward) about 2-2 1/2 turns open. As for the float the ballons should set level when the carb is upside down. You might have to set the float with the ballons tipped up just a tad to keep the carb from dripping.

The last time I had it running it kept cutting out & I had to keep choking it to keep it going.Third & forth cyl,s were not firing.Does this help narrow down the trouble?Just learning. Thanks again,Don.

IF YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING ELSE , checked valve clearances ,Swapped plug wires ,,ect >>>>Sounds like the same pridicament I have seen with the burned thru manifolds . The problem is usually hard to detect .. You have to turn it every which way butloose to find the problem . Give George in MD a line ,,And talk to him personally by landline ,, He can fix it ,Best wishes , Jim
