I HAVE A JI CASE 411 (400). I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE ACTUATING BALL SIZE IS FOR THE BRAKES. THE OLD ONES ARE APPRX 5/8". ARE THEY WOREN OR IS THAT THE CORRECT SIZE? I CAN'T FIND THE INFO ANYWHERE. PLZ HELP

Tim, depends if you have the big 1955 - 1957 400 or the smaller 1958 - 1959 400B.

If you are going to be buying from Case, note that the first character of p/n's ending with AB is the letter "O" not the digit "0". Aftermarket vendors may use either.

Big 400 is 5/8".
Case p/n O8296AB, cross-ref p/n 211-15.

400B is 7/8".
Case p/n O9384AB, cross-ref p/n 211-19.

I buy from Mcmaster-Carr at the link below for my 300's (7/8"). Enter "bearing ball" in the search box. Also you may want to consider buying the next larger size depending on how much metal you have to remove in cleaning up the ball ramps.
