Hello,

I have a question.

Does anyone know if someone has made a tractor with 2 PTO shafts in the rear end of a tractor ?

I have heard about several tractors with 1 in the rear, and 1 in the side, but how about 2 in the rear ?

Bill: The 254 and 274 and 294 were produced between 1982 & 1986 by Landini for Massey Ferguson. The 254 is 45 HP, the 274 is 55 HP and the 294 is rated at 67. That said, I can only speak for the 274 about the double PTO shafts. The top shaft on mine has hyd pump to power the loader and is controled by a lever on the right side of the dash. The bottom shaft is used for whatever and is controled by a lever on the left side of the rear diff. Drop me a note at waynek@bgwireless and I will take some pictures and sent them to you. Wayne

Many modern IH tractors had both 540 and 1000 rpm shafts. They aren't intended to be used simultaneously.
