I just bought a '48 DC. I have 2 questions about it. It needs an exhaust manifold elbow. Are those available somewhere? Also, on the brake pedal locking latches (with the teeth cut in them), is there supposed to be a rod or something on them to pull them up into engagement? I see a small hole in each of them that looks like maybe something like that is supposed to go in them. Thanks!

I have a 52. Yes there is a rod under the foot rests that pulls that mechanism into braking position lock. You just kick the pedal to release it. About a 5/16 rod and a small metal loop holds the rear up. I used a conduit two hole clamp!
