I need some help, I am restoring a "49" LA for a customer and I need to know if the hood on the carb side is supposed to have a slight bow toward the exgaust pipe riser, the mag side is perfectly straigh but the carb side bows out slightly, It looks like it is supposed to be that way and some pics i have seen also appear to be bowed out but i need to know for sure, thank you in advance!

Both the hoods that I have are straight on both sides. The exhaust side usually is burnt out from the exhaust stack and or warped from the heat.
