Forgive me--I'm usually on the Oliver board. My Father-in-law has a 400 Case I think will be for sale. Asked me what it's worth and I don't know. It is a project. It has run fairly recently. I know it hasn't been run for several months-maybe a year or two. It is a gasser, has a wide front (looks factory), eagle hitch, 1 set of hydraulic remotes. I know it is missing a cover over the radiator cap (if there was one). One back rim is shot account leaking fluid. The other one looks weak around the valve stem. Has good 14.9-38 tires. Original paint. No rust bucket but needs repainted.

I converted it to 12 volt about 12 or 13 years ago and it ran good then. Just needs a little work and tlc to be a running tractor. What are these things bringing these days?

This is the the big round nose 400 that was made in 1955 thru 1957, right? Location has a lot to do with price. They are more rare in the east and bring more money. With the wide front, $2,000 to $2,500 around here.

I would say that is the one. It has a rounded grille, tan hood, orange belly, and 4 cylinder gas engine. There were different model 400's? It is located in central IN.

At first there were the round nose 300 and 400 series, then they changed the sheet metal on the 300 series and added a smaller 400, 500, 600, etc. and discontunued the old 400. There was also a 200 and 350 in the mix. The newer sheet metal had the headlights in the front above a screened grill, but used the same tan/orange color scheme.
