I have a new to me CC, and the magneto doesn't snap. I haven't heard it run yet, but the previous owner assures me that it does run, just will need to be pulled to make it happen. Anyway, can someone refer me to a good site on resources for parts and repair? It is a base mounted mag, looks very similar to the one on my LA. thanks Loy

Walt thats a great link, and I think the mag that's on my LA. Upon closer inspection the CC has an American Bosch MJAIB-112 magneto. thanks Loy

I had the manual and another friend had the software to upload it so we collaborated and put it up for all to use. the manuals are rare and hard to find.
Hope this helps all of you who need to work on your mag.
I have a neat way to time the mag on your LA I will post it later.
Walt

If you need to pull the mag make sure you make a note where the rotor is pointing before you pull it. Then don't move the engine while the mag is off the engine. When reinstalling the mag rotate the rotor to the same position you noted and install on engine. Hal
