I think that if you do an antique tractor calendar and it happens to have all Case tractors on it, to bad. I don't see how Case IH can say a thing about it this way. I have a 1934 Case L that was in the "center fold" of the Old Abe News about a year ago that I would like to see on your calendar. I also have some other tractors and pictures that might be suitable. Lets see if I can attach a picture of my '49 Case VAO. I just finished it last summer and am starting on the Wagner lift for it. When I got it, it was mostly rusty surfaces and hadn't ran for 12 years. The distributor had self destructed. I went thru 3 more 'til I got one that would hold together. Now it starts & runs great! The hardest work it does is to haul wood for my shop stove. I've changed it from a 6v positive ground to a 12v negative ground.

I have a couple of really neet digital pictures of my '46 VAC hooked to a Woods Brothers single row picker that we were using to pick 100bu/a corn this fall. It really worked the old girl when the wagon got full. The picker was probably designed to pick 50bu/a, so that was a load by itself, not to mention pulling a loaded flare box in soft ground that was just about full. It was great to hear the governor work that engine! Let me know if you want one or two. I'll try to figure out how to get them to you. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Oh to heck with all that nonsense. It's a guy using his own abilities to put together a novelty item for him and his "friends" I mean it's not like it'll be a mass market item.

Mark I'm in! E-mail is open let me know what you are looking for and I'll send you some of what I have and you can decide if you want to use them or not. Mine are not perfect so no offense will be taken I just love the idea.
Thanks for your effort,
Larry

I would contact the editor of either Old Abes News or Heritage Eagle. They might be able to get you a good deal with a printing company plus supply some photos.

Mark good luck but one question - do you need any permission to do this? I don't know anything about this but I have heard Case is difficult. I know most of the tractor calendars have pictures of Case on them. Just wondering.

I believe you will be fine as long as you do not use any item or name that is or can be copyrighted by Case or CNH. Submission of the pictures by us of our tractors is an implied permission to use them for this project.
A compilitation of pictures with the owner and a description will be private and original material and not subject to copyright infringement... Gene

I think you better contact CaseNH before you go any further. We have an artist in our area who does pencil drawings and they made him stop doing pictures with anything Case in them.

Should be simple. Make sure all of the photos have some other major object on them such as a house or barn or a piece of equipment, then who is to say what the picture is about. Call your calender something besides Case Tracors.

He could include pictures of how some us haul our Cases.

This is a '46 White WB-22, hauling a '30 C and a '38 CC and the trailer is a '70 DoMor.

Everybody with this rig is an antique including the driver :-)
