Thanks for the input on this problem so far.

Here is a recap of the original post/problem.

I have a 2290 that the #2 remote valve does not provide good flow and pressure. Moving the flow control does not make a difference. If we plug a hyd pressure gauge into the #2 coupler we get 2000 psi for a little bit (1-2 sec) and then it drops back to 1500 psi. If we activate #1 or #3 while testing #2 it jumps to 2300 psi. If we check #1 or #3 alone we get 2500 psi. Several years ago we overhauled all the remote valves for similar problems and at that time we thought we had this problem fixed. At that time we replaced the primary and secondary shuttle valves along with all of the o-rings. Anyone have any ideas? ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -

This is where we are at today.

We pulled the valve stack off and checked all the primary and secondary shuttle valves and o-rings and found no problems. We already had the 96 series Teflon o-rings on all of the valves. All of the check balls appeared to be functioning OK. Not knowing what else to do, we reinstalled the valve stack and did a pressure check with a gauge deadheaded into the #2 coupler. The pressure was better, but still not right, about 2300 psi compared to 2500 psi for #1 and #2. We decided to flow rate it and at first #2 had almost no flow, but after playing with it a little bit (don"t really know what we did) it started to work normal (16.5 GPM @ 2000RPM) as far as we could tell. Now it appears to be working OK except for one thing. If we put #3 on float, we have no flow or pressure from #2 in the raise (lever in cab to the rear) position. Move the lever forward and the pressure and flow is fine. And #1 works fine with #3 in float. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for all of your help!
