I have a 210b which is being restored and we have removed the loader. We are about ready to fire the tractor up and I need to know what the best way to do this is when loader is off without blowing hydraulic fluid all over or harming the hydraulic pump. There is a by pass? lever on the pump but I am unsure exactly what this bypasses (eagle hitch and/or loader?) and the fluid flow path when bypass is activated. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are refering to the tractor belly pump there should be a tab on the front of it you can move foward. This is hooked to a rod that will disengage pump. If you have a front mount just pull pump off of drive shaft.

This is the pump/valve under the gas tank. I know the tab but did not know if it disengaged the pump (good news) or if it just bypassed some of the hydraulics. Thank you.
