I'm removing the fuel tank in a case 454. I'm pretty sure its a 454 but not 100% positive, i dont have the best memory. Its a diesel and it kept on acting like it was running out of fuel. I pulled the fuel lines and found them all clogged with trash. I'm trying to pull the fuel tank to clean it out. I pretty sure i got all the bolts out but it isnt comming out. I'm thinking maybe the rollover bars are compressing it into place. My next plan is to try loosen the bolts a little so i can pull it out. Any suggestions? Also how should i try to clean it out and get all the rust out? Or am i better off replacing it?
