The cab is the only bright spot of a 1594. Had one that I bought used, overhauled with a paint job and new tires.Power shift was very slow shifting in cold weather.P.T.O. engagement is of the David Brown 2 stage clutch style. I do remember when I needed a new clutch the Case-IH dealer had a terrible time trying to get it adjusted for both trans. and P.T.O.-not to slip.My advice is to let it go.

Their reputation is not as good as the Racine tractors....the 1594 were still essentially the old David Brown.

I drove one once-wanted mfwd for loader tractor. I thought this particular one was under powered had to downshift twice to climb hill in the guy's driveway, and then when I went to back it back in the guy's shed I had a heck of time getting it in reverse. So I didn't think it would make much of a loader tractor. Lee
