The brakes on my 2090 will not stay pumped up.
I must pump the pedals 3-4 times before pedal seems right. Have bled brakes several times (tractor running) but no change. Brake releif valve goes off at 1700 psi and steering at 2100 psi. I put an inline brake valve on tractor and brakes will hold for several days with valve engaged. I recently replaced O- Rings on the brake spool valves and boost spools, but it still did not change. Has anyone had similar problems? Where would I check next? Any help would be great.

The actual brake plates are warped from being dragged until they overheated, the first applications are trying to flatten out the warped plates , then you have brake till you release them. Those brakes will not stand long application with heavy loads on them down hill. Replace the friction and steel plates, piston o-rings while you are right there. reset the adjusters as per the service manual and reassemble. Re bleed and you'll be fine. Next time, use your powershift to hold back loads by compression rather than dragging the brakes. Many of these tractors have yet be be opened up for brakes, misuse kills them, not normal use. mEl.
