Okay she started making a new noise today. It is either the tachometer or the tachometer cable. It is a high speed vibration that is noticeable on the display arm. Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks in advance,

RD

I had this once hapen with my Fordson Super Major. I disconected the tack cable at the fuel pump, pulled the tach cable out, got some greese on my fingers, and greesed the cable, as I reinstalled it. It is probably dry, and needs some lubrication. Or you can disconect the cable at the tach, and run some gearlub inside with a surringe. which ever you prefer.
Hope this helps.
Bruce.
