Found a 1946 SC coming up for auction. Metal good but faded,rubber 50%, runs. Was wondering what to exspect to pay.

What is the VIN (Ser. #) of the tractor. If it begins with 56 (or higher) it is at least a 1952 or higher.

Location,tires,3-point and pto have a lot to do with value. I'd guess it's worth as much as you wanna pay,but I'd draw the line somewhere under $1500...

A '46 SC does not have a 3 point hitch or even hydraulics from the factory. Hydraulics came out in '49 and eagle hitch (CASE'S early 3 point hitch) came out in '52. The '46 you're looking at likely has the mechanical lift which was designed for a mounted cultivator, etc.
