Well, I finally fixed the problem with starting out in medium range...then shifting back to low when letting up on the inching peddle. Turns out the top micro-switch above the clutch peddle was either shorted or not adjusted properly. I backed the contact point off about 1/8 inches and the sucker took off just fine. I learned that switch is connected to the C2 pressure switch and the C3 clutch pack. What was happening is that upon take-off the switch is hot and when the peddle hit the switch it completed the circuit to the C3 clutch pack. Since C1 is already activated by clutch peddle disconnected from bottom micro switch the tractor jumped into medium...nearly stalling the engine and giving the driver whiplash every time. Once the C2 pressure switch shut off the power to the top micro switch and C2 clutch pack engaged the tractor dropped back to low range. Sorry if this is confusing but hope this helps someone else.

Good information. You might want to save that and pass it on when someone needs it here. Save someone a lot of headaches. Have a good day *S
You know maybe send it in to this form for posting on it to.
