what is the procedure to remove the head on a case dc tractor? i have a manual on order, i hope to get that real soon, thanks, Jim

It's fairly straightforward.
1) Remove hood and disconnect chicken roost steering arm
2) Disconnect Gas Line, preferably at both ends
3) Remove manifold
4) Remove bolts in lower end of radiator pipe between head and radiator top tank and loosen the two bolts holding the radiator to the front casting so you can tip the radiator forward a bit
5) Remove valve cover and rocker arm assembly
6) Remove nuts on head bolts
The head should come off; if not you may have to insert a bar in one of the exhaust holes and pry it a bit.
