I was just wondering if someone could tell me what the two plugs do on the bottom of the manifold, right above the carburetor. The one on the left side is bigger than the one on the right side. And did these manifolds mix hot and cold air? Mine is broke so I can see in there and I see little holes like it must mix the air. Also I am missing the linkage to shut off the magneto, I have the lever and the linkage and it goes under the gas tank then it stops, what all am I missing. Also wondering how this hooked up to mag, since mag shut off on mine is up and down not forward and back. Hopefully that makes sense to somebody, I do know that I do not have the original mag on there, maybe this is why? Thanks Aaron

Aaron, I'm in the midst of hosting a tractor show this weekend, but I'll look at my 29 L and get back to you.

I don't recall seeing the plugs you're talking about on mine. I can also try to zap you a pic of the mag linkage. Mine has a big Slick mag on it now and the linkage has been modified to work with it, but you should be able to see whats original, whats not, and how it all works without any trouble.

I'll try to get back to you in a couple of days.
