a boy down the road has a DC with new pistons, and some body didn`t drain the water out, broke the head & block could he get more than scrap price out of it? here in s.e. michigan scrap runs around 200.00 a ton, he said he went to a tractor pull and they told him it was to new, he dont feel to good about it.

I'd pull out the pistons and sleeves, rear rims, carb, mag, lights and anything else that is good, like battery tray, seat, and ebay them, and scrap the rest.
