I've got a Case 600 combine sitting in the field. I'd like to try to get it started and running again. It's been a couple of years since it was last run.Problem is, I don't really know where to buy parts for it. I'm going to need a carb kit, oil filter, spark plugs, etc. Can I buy parts for it at a farm supply store, or NAPA, or must I go to Case? (Case is really far from me, rather not have to go there.) I thought the guy that sold it said it had a Chrysler engine on it, but I don't know if that's true or not. Also how much is this combine worth -- am I wasting my time getting it running again? It ran and worked fine when it was parked... but I just don't see any 600's out there. Only 660's. Can anyone give me general info on the 600, when they were made, what they could do, differences from the 660, etc. I'd like to know what I'm dealing with here. Thanks.
