I've been trying to help my dad fix his old 870 Agri King. There is very little hydraulic pressure to operate the lift or external cylinders. This is still true after replacing the pump. Another problem is that the powershift barely works in low range. Could these two problems be related.

We overhauled the remote and now everything works great.

Everything worked great for a time and then gradually got worse. At present, the lift works great when then clutch is pressed in, however, the pressure drops very low when the clutch is released (even when the shift is in neutral). Low range, high range, and reverse are intermittent at best. I pulled apart the shift valve body and everything moved freely and looked to be in good shape. We believe it to be a problem in one or more of the clutch circuits. Any ideas? We"ll split her apart in December.
