Tom, The information on these tractors is a little confusing,or should I say complicated to sort out. It looks like these tractors were the 840, 840C, 841,841C, 842, 843, and 843C with LP at the end of that number of course. They were all built in 1966 and 67 with the exception of the 841's built in 1968 and 69, and one 841C built in 1968. It looks like total production was 331 units, but they don't make it easy to figure out.

Barry, I beg to differ with you but the 830 LP's were built all through the 60's, Dad has a '62 sitting in the shed & his brother has a twin to ours a few miles away & there was an article on it a year or so ago in the Heritage Eagle magazine..... ....Roger

Sorry about the mistaken information. I just looked up the information from the production listings in an issue of OLD ABE'S NEWS, the magazine published by the JI CASE collectors association. It wasn't an article, just a list of tractors and the number and years they were produced. I don't claim to be an expert on 830 LP tractors, I was just trying to find helpful information from what I thought was a reputable source to help a fellow Case owner. Barry
