1030 case, sleeve removed!!!

Finnaly got it. Used a dial indicator to find out what exactly was stuck. Had to raise the tractor front up by inflating the front tires, then stacking blocks under the con rod, then removed the valve stems so the weight of the tractor was applied to the con rod. Then pounded up from below. At first, 10 taps yielded .001 of an inch. It took about 3 hours of pounding. Now i need a piston (part# A57139), a sleeve and bearings (A21057).

I think i heard that all engine parts are availibe from case dealers, true?

I overhauled my 1030 with a kit from Engine Rebuilders Supply, which is right beside Columbus Col-Weld that can grind and weld your crank in Columbus OH. Was a lot cheaper and still runs great. Pulls the 8 row planter every spring.
