What kind of tractors are these? Do they burn a large amount of fuel. They are quite a bit cheaper than the diesel. Are they the same tractors? Let me know all you can please. Thanks, Ricky

I had a 930LP, a 931 is the exact model # A good tractor, plenty of power. I think they are one of the best deals as far as cheap hp. When you consider you get live PTO, live hydraulics, dual remotes. They can be converted to gasoline, I understand, by simply replacing the gas tank, tank mounts, carb, and adding a fuel pump. Talking to a mechanic who works on our LP forklifts, I was informed that the only real difference between the LP and gas motor is that the LP has hardened valve guides because of the nonlubricating nature of LP fuel. They burn clean and the engines last a long time. The spark plugs almost have to have Anti-sieze applied to the threads as they can stick in the block.

The lp burners usually have a little less power others but do cost less to operate. You could convert a propane engine to gas and get alot of power if interested. Propane has higher compression.
