my dad bought a 1031 gas did case make a gas 1030 or did someone change the motor he bought it cheap less than a 1000.00 in it just would like to know.it has been very handy lots of power we don't care if its factory its case that makes up for it. my grandfather bought a new 1969 case 430 when it was delvered the man knew my grandfather well he told him he fixed the fuel so he would never run out power it was turned up as much as a 630 or more.it came with case 2row corn planter #10 mowing machine case corn picker and plows so thats all we know is case the only way to go.my dad bought the 430 and equiptment after grandfather passed.he started chopping corn with 6000 ford comander that transmision lasted a month my less all that money tied up in new jd equiptment no tractor only one thing to do hook up the 430.thats when that extra fuel payed off he had to let air out of the tires to pull heavy loads also adjust pto up tight it took bouth hands to put in gear.farmers came from all around to watch some with 430s and 530s went to see that man that fixed the pump they wanted to chop corn like Johnney Woodrums 430.the next season dad got an 830

1030's were all diesel. Somebody must have put a 377 engine from a 930 in it or something.
