I see the dip stick for the torque tube, but can't seem to find the filler cap. Does anyone know where it might be? It's a '62 with dual range and shuttle shift. Also, would a low fluid level cause the clutch pressure gauge to read low, or is this another problem? When I check the level, should it be after I used it for awhile like a car, or can it be checked cold? Thanks in advance for any info.

its better to check it cold because if you run it and then check all the fluid will still be draining down. same way on a car. the low psi. i don't think the low oil level would do any thing inless its really low. it might be the gauge take the line off and put it on another one if it don't help. then you have a problem. and the filler cap i think was the breather on the 400 if not there was a plug with a square head on it that we pulled up by the dash. if there the same or close to the same. good luck.
