We want to build a 930 for pulling just wondering how light you can get one? Heard ya can bolt a 400 rear end on and loose alot of weight that way. How big can ya build the engine and still turn it about 4500 - 5000 rpms? Any does and donts would be helpfull . Thanks in advance

I think you can get the tractor down around 8000lbs. You can build the engine as big as you want and get 4500 rpm's as long as you can get air and the fuel it needs. I depends what they are limiting you on as far as turbo and fuel pump, do they let you inject water? To get those kind of rpm's it's going to cost you some money. What kind of class is it you are going to pull in?
