I have a case 900 LP that I have owned for 20 years. The regulator is malfunctioning and I can nt find parts for an Ensign regulator. Does anybody have any suggestions or know how to convert it to gas? I like the LP gas and the way it runs, but I am frustrated on LP parts. I cain't even buy a correct fuel filter for it
Thanks
Todd

We are in the process of converting a 900 to gas. Someone else started the job and all of the LP stuff was gone. You'll need a diesel fuel tank, hood and dash. The hardest part is finding a carb. We got one from Waretown supply out of New Jersey for $370.

Todd, I know how you feel, even though it hasn't happened to me yet. I have a '62 830 LP & a '63 930 LP & my uncle & cousin have a '62 830 LP also. Uncle's 830 regulator diaphragm went bad 2 yrs ago & they know a guy near Albert City Iowa that has made one for their 830 & it has worked so far. I don't know what material they use or where John gets it from. Ensign has been gone for years so parts are HARD to get if not impossible. My 830 is still running on the current diaphragm & hope it does for a long time even though it has been replaced years ago. The 930 I have has an Impco system on it, it was on there when I got it last year, it runs good, but it frosts up from the bottom of the regulator to the carburetor, so I don't think the regulator is big enough, I'll have to check with Impco. If I had your 900 I would leave it on LP even if it meant getting away from original LP equipment, I still like LP the best, even though I have 930's with all 3 fuel types. Let me know if you need any more info..... ....Roger
