Went to a auction yesterday and found me a 1957 Case 900. The book that I have only shows that 750 of these were made in 1957. Tractor sounded good, has 23.1-26 rear rubber, fronts are fair, someone cut a hole in the hood , (they thought it had a blower on it at one time), has an ugly moline cab on it, and over all I would say it's in fair to good condition. Does need a bath and some tlc. The auctioneer ask me if I would give him an opening bid and I said sure, 350.00 opening bid and I ended up buying it for that. Bought a bunch of other stuff so hope to have it home next weekend. Thought I got myself a good deal for once.

My cousin bought a 1957 900 diesel new in 57. he still has it and uses it for small jobs. The 57 has a rotary type pump and the rad. cap was below the hood and had a flip up cover. 58 & 9 900's had the in line pump and the rad. cap was above the hood. I have a 59 900 LP.

Had one about 10 years ago. Ran good pulled good for four or five years then it threw a rod and busted the block. I think I still have a new honeycomb hydraulic filter for it. I'll send it with Mike.

It's a 900 Diesel, LP would of been nicer as they only made 150 of them in 1957.
