What is the HP on a 970 Case? A 1070 Case?
Thanks Ron

Rich is exactly right on the stock horsepower ratings of both the 970 and 1070. Installing a turbo really wakes up these direct injection engines. We had a 970 and turned up the injection pump and could only get 113 horsepower. Turning up the pump further only produced more smoke and less power. With the pump set at 113 horsepower, we installed a turbo. Wow! The power jumped to 176 horsepower. If your tractor doesn't have a turbo, consider adding one for increased economy and power.

Just bought a 970 with 4,5XX actual hours. One owner, never been overhauled or pump turned up. It dyno'd at 104 hp. Just my 2 cents worth. Good tractors!
