Heyas,

Just wondering about the weight of a case 530 with backhoe and loader. And perhaps, the
seperate weights of all 3 pieces. Its a model
31 backhoe, model 32 loader.

Oh, and how much extra does calcium in the rears add.

I was told by the previous owner it weighs
14k lbs, but some people have told me its
more like 8k.

Also, how bad is it to go over the rating
of a trailer tire. I have some 1800 lb
tires that are on my tandem trailer. I don't really have a use for them if
I replace them so I was thinking of just
trying them out. They appear to be pretty
rugged.

Thanks for any info,

-Greg

TRACTOR WEIGHT WITH LOADER (DIESEL) 5640LBS (GAS) 5290LBS ADD 134 LBS FOR TORQUE CONVERTER DRIVE ADD 3260 LBS FOR BACKHOE

ACCORDING TO THE WEIGHT OF THE MACHINE A 6 TON TRAILER IS THE LIGHTEST YOU SHOULD USE. THIS TRAILER SHOULD HAVE 12PLY TIRES.

Greg,
Dont listen to george, I hauled a 530CK with hoe and loader from Mich. to Ohio with 2 inches of snow on the roads with a 1/2 ton 1500 Dodge pickup on a trailer without brakes. Now it was a little scary, but it was fine. If you have a 1 ton and heavy duty trailer you will be fine. Hope this helps.

The owner's manual for the 530 CK with 32 loader and hoe shows a weight of around 10,000#. If the rear tires are loaded better add another 1000# maybe. I got a trailer with 10 ply rated tires and would NOT even attempt to haul that. I have had U bolts stretch before tires fail. This is one of those times when the money is well spent to hire someone with a heavy, like 30 ton rated equipment trailer, to move it for you. If you only go a short distance, you could try it but then you could road the tractor and not deal with the trailer. Been there and done that, ya know. George

I'm not sure on the weight, but I bet if you took it to your local co-op they would weigh it for you. Usually they do it for free.
