The correct mag. is a American Bosch M.J. A4-B-112 with impulse coupling ACA2-A4. The Case part # for this mag is 06645 A3. CASEPOWER

In the book Full Steam Ahead, by Erb and Brumbaugh, they have info on the production changes of the magnetos. I am at work, don't have my copy handy. The email address I give is my home, so if you want to email me, I will receive it there and can check the book. I highly recommend that book as a reference material and very interesting reading if you like the old Cases. I believe your correct magneto will be one of the American Bosch M series, but reference material should indicate which one.

If my CC parts book is right it could be either a basemount Case, or Robert Bosch. The Case started in 1936, and they continued the Bosch through the basemount DC's.
