Jonathon, are you sure the SC had 26" tires? Peter's book says the S had 26 " tires. My Uncle Jake had two 41's that he bought new with the solid rims and they were both 38" rubber. The two that were at the Summer Case show both had 38" rubber on them.

Thanks.

That's why I wrote that it was from the book. I thought it might be a typo myself, but that is what it says for the S and the SC. It does say the wheelbase is different and the SC is adjustable rear tread so I know they got part of it right.

The S is a standard tread(wheatland) type and the SC is the row crop, standard tread on all makes used a smaller wheel diameter than the row crop versions, That tractor should be 5:50x16 front with 10X38 rear that translated to the new sizes is 11.2X38, the 11X38 is now 12.4X38, the 12X38 is now 13.6X38, a 10.00X38 is real old size that would more equal 13-14.9X38

The build sheet for my 41 SC ser. 4500477 shows 9x38 rears and 500-15 fronts this tractor was made Nov. 1940. 11.2x38 [10x38] is about as close as I can get. If someone has earlier SC please let me know. Ph. 507-368-9497 late P.M. central.

They came standard with 10 X 38 and 5.50 X 16 on the front. Can't say for sure about all but we used the three rib design on the front and the 10" were all switched to 11" when it came to replace them. Better traction.

Thanks.
