overhauling a 1927 18-32, having trouble with the exhaust blowing back thru the carb. Have put new valves, rings , sleeves and had the carb and mag worked on. Sure need some help on this one. Thanks, BOB

I just had a head redone for a 18-32. My head had 30 degree seats in it. Most replacement valves were 45 degree. They need to match.

Sure does sound like the valves are to tight or not seating. The only other thing wound be valve timeing.. CASEPOWER

Thank's CASEPOWER, I am thinking that the valves were not ground in properly. Will check everything that you mentioned.
