I,M Looking (buying a ) CASE model D tractor. Every thing seems to be there, except a linkedge that goes down to the rear hydrolic,s. The tractor starts with the original hand crank, the fenders have a couple dings and it needs tires and minor cosmetics other than that it runs great. It also comes with a hydrolic sical bar that is a case model 10? or 12?i now nothing about the value and history of this tractor. Is it worth $1000.00???Thanks for all info, CRAIG...

I have a Case D and I didn't think that any "D"'s had hydraulic's on them. Mine is a standard, and I thought that all of the "D"'s were standard tractors. Are you sure that your tractor is a regular "D"? Mike Patrick

The price doesn't seem too bad to me. I might try to get him to knock off another $100. I think the D's are a lot rarer than the DC's and probably in greater demand. I figure the mower is worth $100.

To me 1000.00 is on the high side, tires get spendy in a hurry. Would see if he would take less for it. Do you have the serial number.
