I have an opportunity to buy a 46 Case vac for $250. Can I get a kit to install a modern 3 pt.??? And no the engine isn't stuck, and all the sheet metal is there, just very rusty and a little bent back by the steering wheel - thanks for any helpful advice

I have what I believe is a complete setup for a three point on a VAC. It is run off the belt pulley pump. Depending on where you are located, it might be worth your while. It came off of my Uncles tractor that I parted out a couple of years ago. Let me know if you are interested and I will try and put some pictures together. I have also seen Eagle claw hitches adapted.

Michael,

I don't know of any after market 3 pts for the vac now. Case made one years ago. I have a manuel for one but not the hitch. Keep thinking i'll make up one but then i'd have to buy some 3 pt equipment. It just never ends does it? I think guys on here refer to this as a stockton hitch. never had any say why. they work off the non live belt pully high pressure pump. Saw one on a vac that was for sale some years ago. the old man swore it worked like a charm. had quite a bit of equipment with it.

I grew up wearing the seat out of my levi's riding dad's 46 vac. Good, good, tractor. I only wish they would have beefed up the pto. That is the va series' weak spot. Dad made payments on the place doing bush hogging and custom baleing with one though. can't be to weak, huh?

Have fun. you've got a good rig.

Thanks for the info. How about, selling me your manual, or a set of xeroxs of your manual. Maybe, I could put something togetherwith some N parts.
