Does anyone Know the difference between the model 430 and the 431. They were both made in a diesel version. They look almost identicle and I am wondering if the parts are interchangeable

Hi, Your 431 is a general purpose tractor and sits higher from the ground than the low 430 utility tractor or standard tractor. The 4 speed & final drive housings have the axles located different and different front axle height. The only way I know to match parts is parts manuals for both and in the correct serial number range. Three serial number ranges for 430 parts manuals. Hope that helps....Dennis....
