I'M LOOKING AT a 60's era 930 ck to buy . It has power steering problems ;reported fuel control problems ; been sitting parked several years. No seat ,no muffler {exaust has been covered},dry tires, but was reported to run when parked.
would appreciate any advice good or bad as to the good points or bad points . maybe even a possible offering price.

I wouldn't give very much for a 930 in this condition. 930'S don't bring very much in running condition. At least around here you can buy a really good one for $3,500. Thats with 3 point, good hydraulics, pto and everything working right, and good tin. I priced two recently that were straight pulling tractors with drawbars and hydraulics only, one was an early 930 with hand clutch, bad paint, but good tin, and wide rear wheels and rice tires for $1,500, the other was a later Canadian tractor with a nice cab, no rust, and looked like it had always been ahedded for $2,800. That's just my experience however, others might have a different opinion.
Good luck,
Barry
