Case Powershift, strong enough for pulling?

Since this seems to be about the only place to talk about Case tractors, does any one have or know of a 70 series case using the powershift in a pulling type tractor. Nothing like a super or prostocker, more like hot farm, or super farm. I've been told that the powershift won't hold up. Any information would be appreciated.

The class is really pretty stock, 11,000 lbs max
466 max cubes, 3" turbo no water, stock heads and original type block

yea it should but don't shift when your pulling other wise you will snap that shaft that goes to the back. thats what my dad said we have one and hes tore into them and knows alot about them.

i think it would depending on what weight class and what other mods your doing. but i would try it if you already have one ready.
