Just picked up a 1933 Case CC this weekend, for my neighbor. The box is all rotted away between the carb, and the manifold. There is only yhe remnance of one fuel line going to the carb...My question is, I though this tractor was suposed to start on gas, then switch over to kersoene. Does that mean that the kerosene line is suposed to be routed into the box that is rotted away, so's it could be preherated before it goes to the carb? There is no way that remains on the tractor that allows you to swich it over to kerosene. Does anybody have any pictures or a diagram handy? Thanks everyone...

They even did missprints in the good old days! The CE is labeled LE, and the LE is labeled CE.

If you don't care about an original look, a DC manifold & carb will work & both would be easier to come by. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

The gas and kero lines at the carb are one and the same. The fuel is heated before it gets to the cylinder in the manifold. The kero valve is turned off to start the tractor. The gas valve is turned on. Once it is warmed up the gas is shut off and the kero on. When operating on Kero the manifold damper (preheats the fuel mixture) hould be set to H or hot. If running on gas only it should be set to C or cold.
