why do want to mess with a504 when a 451 from a 1170 or 1175 will bolt right to a 900 trans? all you need to do is drill the side of the block where the steering shaft goes. you can get 250 hp easy with this set up , more than your trans will handle on continuous use.

I have a CASE W36 with a A504 Motor with what I think is a cracked block. Can that 451 bolt up to my trany? I have a torque converter that seems alittle tired as well. IS it better to get a rebuilt,.???

If you pull the pto out and if it would work in a 930 I would be interested in it. Mine has a plate on it now, no pto.

It depends on how much money and how many turbos you want to put on it. Apparently you already know that 504 didn't come in 900. You could drill and tap for spark plugs, 4 turbos, alky, and 4-5000 hp. Look at all the big boys.

Jim, I found a good way to loose alot of weight on a 900. Put a L plate on rear and loose pto. Dad found a plate in Portland, Ind.

You could get 220hp if you set it up with 2670 tubo and intercooler and would have a good life out of it. When you exceed the 22 to 1 air to feul mix the life goes down. You want to put more fuel and power put in more air also. If you turned the black smoke feul to it you might get 200 hp out of it.
