Hello, I have a case LA that i am trying to get running. I have a hot mag. I have got all of the correct firing order and new plugs. When i check the firing on the #1 cylinder the mark on the fly wheel is E. My manual says that it should be D. They are fairly close together but how do i go about getting to the D. The tractor is currently blowing flames into the air when you try to start it. Any insight would be helpful

Thank you

Are you changing the timing adjustment just in front of the magneto (ie just behind the govenor)?

From memory you need a 1 1/4" open ended wrench.
