I'm trying to set the timing on my 1950 SC and am a little confused. With the #1 piston coming up on the compression stroke and the hole on the flywheel centered in the viewing hole should the rotor be pointing to the #1 cylinder position before the magneto snaps or after the magneto snaps? Or put another way - When the magneto snaps should the rotor move from the Cylinder #2 to the #1 position or from the Cylinder #1 to the #3 position? Please clear this up for me! Thanks.
