Could anyone give me a line to parts for this tractor. Just pulled it out of the shed, been in a friends family since it was born. He's got it running but needs a water pump kit. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanx.

Probably not a kit out there and I doubt there's anybody making aftermarket kits. The owners manual has a good write-up on how to service the pump. There's an original manual out on e-bay right now going for $32. After-market reprint manuals are available but their diagrams aren't as good as the originals. You might check with Don Livingston (manifold@smig.net) to see if there's anything available...if it exists he'll have it...

What are you expecting in a Waterpump kit for a 12-20... I suspect the pump is leaking, All there is a piece of water packing behind the packing nut on the shaft. You should be able to back the nut off and put in a new pice of waterpump packing with out even removing the pump. As far as I know there are no kits for those pumps.

Thanks for the info Al. I don't know what's in the pump, I havn't looked at it yet but my friend said some pieces crumbled in his hand and if I understood him correctly the pump does not appear to be pumping. I'll check it out this wkend. Maybe the impellors rotted, I don't know. Do you know of anyone who may carry after markets parts for a machine this old? Thanks for the help.
