I am going to look at a 730 comfort king tomorrow that once belonged to my grandfather. What are 730's selling for these days? I am told that it is in average cond. Also it is a diesel with standard trans, not case-o-matic. I am going to try and buy it to restore it was my grandfahers favorite tractor.

I am glad you got your grandfather tractor.
I do not think you will ever be sorry.

Whatever you do, don't let your grandfather's tractor get away. All I have from my grandfather(s) is a tool box and a fencepost. Besides, a 730 gear drive is a very good dependable tractor. Now don't think I wasted a chance to get any of my grandfather's tractors because all of his were one horsepower and had four feet. They just don't last as long as a 730!

I bought the 730 I paid 3500 for it I probally could of gotten it cheaper but being that it was my grandfathers so I had to have it. It's in pretty good condition, there are a few things that need attention but I'll enjoy fixing it up.

When I bought mine I had to give 4500.00 for it. It had never been rained on. It had 2500 hrs on it and a Case model 70 Loader. I love it and would not sell it. They are great tractors.

I saw one go for $2800 a few
weeks back. It seemed to be in reasonable shape.
