I need to replace the brakes on my 530 CK. With the loader and backhoe attached one of the bolts securing the break housing cannot be removed due to the loader support arm (attached to rear axle assy)being in the way. Anybody have any ideas on how to get this bolt out without having to remove the loader? Can I remove the 4 bolts and jack up the support arm to get it out of the way?

Don, are you sure you have to move the loader arms? I replaced the band springs on mine and all I had to remove was the footplate. Just took off four bolts removed housing, removed pivot bolt for brake bands, installed new springs and put her back together. I was working on a 530 construction king 1960's model. Been a while though, I could be mistaken.

You may be right. I did you 10 years ago. And I moved the arms. The foot plate may do it, but I remember moving the loader. Thanks Don L.
