I'm with you - that's the prettiest one I have ever seen. How about one like that for the L?

Good luck for the L. A friend and I went to Ohio and bought two tractors and one was a LI. The manifold (straight gas) was off so we strapped it down on the back of the flat bed and had the tractors on the gooseneck. We kept looking back at the manifold and noticed it had a bottom dump exhaust and did not use a elbow. It looked perfect so we just new it was a aftermarket. When we made it back to NC. we took it off and looked and there old abe was casted in the manifold. It was another new one on me. We also pulled the starter cover plate off for the optional electric start and there was the new ring gear that had never seen the teeth of a starter. Aint life great??

I think I remember that LI. Was that the one on ebay with the shop built contraption on the front? I wanted to bid on it pretty bad, but had just finished another road trip. Glad it turned out good for you.

That's the one. The picture didn't do justice for that tractor. It didn't sell on e-bay, but he told me the reserve and said he had a CC forsale also and we got them both. The LI and the CC were just lightly stuck. The LI also had a gearbox on the back of the PTO that has old abe on it, but I can't seem to find any info on. It has two levers and two tapered shafts. The shafts can be put in forward/ reverse/ and neutral independetly while the PTO is running. Must have been for a road grader or maybe a pan. The CC had high altitude pistons so we came out like fat rats and had a great time on the trip.

Hey Jonathan,

Drop me an e-mail, please. I lost your e-mail address when I switched over to my new computer.

I'd like to talk about what other DC items you've got for sale.

Thanks, -Schotte
