I am currently restoring a Case 300 (312) and the dashboard is gone. I fashoned a piece of metal to cover the hole and include the oil pressure, amemeter, and water temp. gages. Now that the tractor is looking pretty nice, I would like to find a used dash to put back on,to keep it more original. What other model Case tractor used the same type dashboard? I recently saw a Case 800 with one that looked the same as mine, and was wondering if there were more tractors made with the same dashboard. If so, what models are the same so I can ask for them at tractor boneyards. Thanks for any and all help. I hope to have it done in time for a spring show.

When you get a new dash, watch to see that the tachometer goes the right direction. I had a 311B with a broken tach cable. When I replaced it, it still didn't work. After some investigation, I figured out that the cable was going the wrong way. Sure enough, when I looked at the picture of the instruments in the owners manual, the tach WAS backwards. Identical in every way except it went the wrong way. I ended up making a reversing gear box for it. When I sold it, the guy told me that the tach probably came off an 800 series or something. Now I can't remember which way was correct. Maybe someone else can help. Clockwise or Counterclockwise?

Hi Scott. I got a used dash from Don L.and it seem to work just fine. I still need the cable to drive the M.P.H. side of it, but everything else is o.k. I e-mailed Don L. with my phone number, and he called me the next day. We decided that he had what I needed and I recieved it within two days. Couldn't ask for more than that. I checked the direction of travel of the RPM and MPH and they are clockwise and counterclockwise. I appreciate the tip. Thanks beanfarmer

I have a 1957 case 300 or 320. I am not positive which at the moment. It is my fathers. I just recently started to see if there was anyone to purchase it. It hasn't run in 30 years. If I can't find a buyer for the whole thing I would break it down for parts. I have some pictures of it already if you want me to send them. One is part of the dash and is in tact.

Are all of the guages in one big dash or each has it's own hole. I am finishing a 411 and I believe Don L has a complete working dash. Get it before the snow flies!

It is one big dash unit, with all the gages inside, plus the engine RPM and MPH needle indicators and all sealed under glass. Thanks! beanfarmer
